WARWICK, RI- The Rhode Island Democratic Party today endorsed General Treasurer and congressional candidate Seth Magaziner to be the next representative of Rhode Island’s second congressional district.
“I am honored to earn the endorsement of the Rhode Island Democratic Party,” said General Treasurer and congressional candidate Seth Magaziner. “There is so much at stake in this election and I will fight to protect a woman’s right to choose, to keep our kids safe from gun violence, to transition our country to clean energy, and to protect Social Security and Medicare from attempts to cut benefits.”
As General Treasurer, Magaziner has focused on creating good-paying jobs, leading a school construction initiative that has transformed Rhode Island’s school buildings and creating new clean energy programs that have helped small businesses and cities and towns invest in solar, wind and other renewable energy sources.
